CROSS-CULTURAL BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
(CCBC)

In studying this course students will learn basic communication, business communication and cross-cultural communication concepts, characteristics and principles, definition of culture and culture types. Students will get ready for effective communication across different cultures, learn about strategies for making business contacts in different cultures, arranging business meetings in multicultural settings, cooperation in an international team. Students will learn how to organise international meetings adapting to different communication styles, different cultural settings, will prepare for negotiations with partners from different cultural backgrounds, will learn how to develop and adapt communicative messages for different cultures, effectively manage business communication by using electronic communication means. Students will develop written and oral communication skills taking into account cultural features.
